The expansion of the EU means a great challenge and stand alone opportunity for many economical sectors. West-Pannon euregio staying in the heart of Middle-Europe offers a lot of collaborations, but the most of the small and middle ventures cannot use them fully. That is why we bring the Sopron Novum Contact Point into being.

The goal of the project is: to make an out-of-borders net among of innovation és technological centres, higher educations and ventures in the West-Pannon Euregio.

Direct goal: economical inventions and collaboration. On the inside:

• Austrian - Hungarian economical collaboration
• Guidance and information about out-of-border market buildings, and chances and risks of the collaboration
• Organizing seminaries, workshops, cooperation days, business-men meetings to help the out-of-border activities of the small and middle ventures.
• Passing the results, methods and experiences
• General marketing and PR
• Auditing the successful innovation projects

With its modern communication system and services the Innovation Centre of Sopron makes the chances of the same level communication and relationship among the EU ventures and institutions, which are speeding up the permanently intensive growth of West-Pannon Euregio.

So it is clear that the Centre gives place for the Sopron Novum Contact Point.
